Turning an artistic eye for the elements of nature into powerful environmental impact is not just a weird dream, it’s ecomagination. Since 2005, General Electric (GE) has been reinforcing their brand position of “imagination at work” with an environmentally conscious program called “ecomagination.”
“Ecomagination” is a series of projects that draw attention to the environment in a variety of memorable ways. One of their latest projects is the Ecomagination Photo Project. Through this project, consumer-submitted Wind, Water and Light photos have made an impact and have been turned into donations that will build fresh water wells, small-scale wind turbines and provide solar powered lanterns to people in need. These consumer-submitted photos are posted on Flickr and then streamed into the Ecomagination website for your browsing pleasure. Enjoy.
