If home is where the heart is, Habitat for Humanity has a lot of heart.

If you’re like a lot of people, you’ve worked on a Habitat for Humanity project through your job or church or club.  Even if you’ve never helped Habitat for Humanity build a house for a family in need, you’re probably familiar with their organization and what they do.  But because of this familiarity, perhaps the biggest threat to Habitat is the “been there, done that” attitude that’s so easy to fall into with a group like Habitat that seems to be running along just fine without you.  But they still need your help.  Become an advocate and change the world.  Literally.

Take action now. Ask your government representatives to change the systems, policies, attitudes and institutional behaviors that lead to inadequate housing and homelessness.
